There is growing interest from local authorities in the provision of public WiFi in Australia. The Mayor of the City of Melbourne recently indicated that a trial will be conducted in the coming months, ensuring that Melbourne joins a number of other state capital’s, including Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, who have already rolled out networks.
