The first International Seminar Network on Cultural Industries, initiated by Research Institute for Media Technology and Creative Industries, Taipei, was successfully held in Taiwan in 2008 with the theme of “International Convergence of Media Technology, Creative Industry and Cultural Economy". The Seminar ended with constructive consensus on the continuous holding of the International Seminar on Cultural Industries with regular guidance.
